I build solutions around genuine user needs. WNI Registry is not an experiment or a simple showcase app, but a large production system used in the daily work of public administration and continuously developed.

A production system for public administration — used every day and continuously developed

Production system — under continuous development

WNI Registry was not created solely as a portfolio demonstration. It is an extensive production information system used in the daily work of public administration. It has been deployed at the District Veterinary Inspectorate in Białystok, works with real data and evolves around actual processes and user needs.

This is not a demo project.

The project contains more than 60,000 lines of source code across Python, HTML templates and CSS. It is a multi-module tool for registries, decisions, inspections, laboratory results, reports, documents and data integration — not a recruitment exercise.

My role

Process analysis, data model design, Django backend and frontend, document generation, automated testing and deployment documentation.

  • Complete entry lifecycle: registration, update, suspension, resumption, removal and reactivation.
  • Administrative decisions, applications and PDF letters, document templates and bulk correspondence.
  • Imports and data synchronisation from ARiMR, Excel and Salmonella test exports from ZIWET.
  • Annual plans, SPIWET protocols, inspection reports and Excel exports.
  • Operator, coordinator and administrator roles, change history and login safeguards.
  • Full backups, data integrity checks and decision-number continuity audits.
